The environmental education programme ‘Tú eres la llave’, led by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha in collaboration with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes, including Fundación ECOTIC, has launched a new phase aimed at further promoting the circular economy across the region.
Since its launch in 2022, the programme has reached 97,130 people across 381 municipalities, with more than 4,500 sessions and activities focused on waste prevention, reuse, sorting and recycling.
This new phase will broaden its focus to include consumers, young people, the HORECA sector and commercial distributors, with new awareness-raising and training activities. Planned initiatives include 342 activities at universities, visits to 770 hospitality establishments and actions involving 320 household appliance distributors.
