Comparte y Recicla closes its tenth anniversary with a new record

164,817 kg of toys collected, which have found a new home in the hands of children in vulnerable situations.

The toy collection campaign Comparte y Recicla the largest nationwide, closes its tenth anniversary with a new record. This edition collected 164,817 kg of toys, an amount that highlights the generosity of thousands of participating families, and highlights the importance of giving a second life to objects that have become too small.

90% of the toys collected have found a new home in the hands of children in vulnerable situations, more than 32,000 children last Christmas. These toys, previously checked one by one, are now part of the campaign’s toy bank and have been donated to 120 charities throughout the state.

In this edition we have collaborated with the
Orange Foundation
Foundation, which has made it possible to adapt toys to promote inclusive play.
Share and Recycle
is consolidated as an integral sustainability campaign, addressing not only solidarity, but also environmental care and labor integration of people with functional diversity.


ECOTIC
has played a crucial role in the environmentally responsible management of the campaign, recycling more than 10,000 kilos of electronic toys during 2023. A contribution equivalent to the reduction of 26 tons of CO2, a positive footprint comparable to the absorption of 0.52 hectares of pine trees in one year.

The labor integration of eight people belonging to the special employment center
ILADE
has been essential. Their dedication in reviewing and preparing the donations has given a second life to the toys and has contributed to the development of their autonomy and self-esteem.

the main collaborator with more than 115 tons collected, not only facilitated the collection, but also donated 10,000 new toys. Mail Boxes Etc. contributed to the efficient transport from the collection points to the logistics center.

The massive diffusion of the campaign has been key to its success, and we thank Mediaset España for their support.

for its support through the “12 Months, 12 Causes” project. With 309 airings of the spot and mentions in various programs, we have reached more than 16.6 million viewers, thus contributing to awareness and participation.

This tenth campaign represents not only the closing of an edition, but a continued commitment to a better future. We thank all the collaborators, donors and volunteers for making this extraordinary balance possible.
