The Circular Place, consolidating its position as an innovative platform that facilitates the connection between producers, distributors of electrical and electronic devices, and non-profit organizations that require these products.
Driven by ECOTIC together with the SCRAPs integrated in OfiRAEE (AMBILAMP, ECOASIMELEC, ECOFIMÁTICA, ECOLEC, ECOLUM, ECO WEEE’S y European Recycling Platform), this marketplace offers non-profit organizations access to surplus stock of electronic products, preventing them from being prematurely discarded or recycled by giving them a second life.
The next objectives of the initiative include active promotion among all Extended Producer Responsibility Collective Systems (EPRCS) related to electrical and electronic devices, through webinars and trainings to facilitate their incorporation and equipment donations.
In addition, it seeks to encourage
Circular Place
to extend beyond electronic devices, serving as a means to donate and promote a second life for other products.

Lucas González, were in charge of receiving the award.
“Despite its recent launch in 2023,
Circular Place
has already attracted more than a hundred participating companies, both donors and recipients of equipment, and the current circuit on the platform reaches 50,000 pieces of equipment,” Ayora said.
